Jeff Probst to host his own day time talk show

Survivor's legendary host, Jeff Probst, has been hired by CBS to host a daytime talk show. “I’m fascinated with human nature and thrilled that this show will allow me the opportunity to connect with real people and explore their stories on a personal level,” Probst said in a statement.

Jeff will start interviewing newsworthy guests in the Fall of 2012. It is unconfirmed at this point if Jeff will be taking on this job along with his other gig. Survivor- now on season 23- is signed on for two more seasons and now films back to back during the summer.

I for one could not bare to watch Jeff babble with celebrities if it means ditching Survivor. I love the show too much but I know the end is soon. Will JP overshadow Oprah in the daytime talk show genre?
